Mystery of the coins through hollow tube
I start with a little hollow cardboard tube. This one was a tissue paper tube. That’s all. No hidden compartments. No trap doors! I drop a large silver dollar through the tube onto the table. It is a big dollar. The old Morgan dollar. Heavy. Awesome. Minted in 1888. I drop a smaller Liberty Dollar from 2006 through the tube on top of the silver dollar. It is much smaller in diameter so you can clearly see both coins when I lift the tube. I place the tube over the coins again and I then look through the top of the tube. Spectators may take a look too. Something has now happened! I remove the tube. The coins have switched positions! The smaller one is now underneath the larger one! Magic! Mystery! Did this event happen only as we observed it? You decide.
